Safeguarding people is a core part of Emmanuel's and general URC’s mission.

We safeguard the integrity of creation, and we all walk the way together to ensure there is a

sustained community of care where everyone – particularly the most vulnerable – find a place of love,

pastoral care and support.

Our Safeguarding Policy is a crucial aspect of our Church particularly  relating to  children, young people, or vulnerable adults. It outlines the measures that the Church takes to ensure the safety and well-being of these individuals. Our Safeguarding Policy is designed to provide a safe and secure environment for everyone involved at Emmanuel URC. We take safeguarding seriously and are committed to ensuring that, everyone understands their responsibilities and obligations under this policy.
