Christmas Film Night

Sunday 8th December 2019,

4.00pm to 6.30pm

Pizza, Sandwiches, cake & popcorn.

This is a free event with donations invited towards Swindon Night Shelter.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

 

There is a sign-up sheet on the noticeboard in the crèche area if you know you will be coming along (to give us some idea for catering), but you are most welcome to just turn up on the day.

The next Good Earth Cafe is:

Saturday 7th December 2019,

11am to 1:30pm.

​

Please come along and bring friends & relatives.  Sign-up sheets are on the notice board in the crèche area if you can help provide homemade meals & puddings, help on the day, or setting up & clearing away at the end.

Swindon’s temporary shelter for homeless & lonely people need volunteers to help run the shelter from 24th - 28th Dec.

 

Volunteers take shifts & training is available. The volunteer meetings have been scheduled for

Monday 11th November and Tuesday 19th November at 7.30pm

at the St Joseph Catholic College, SN3 2LR

Swindon Food Collective items in need:

*Long life fruit juice*, Tinned fruit,

Tinned meat,

Tinned tomatoes,

Small bags of sugar,

Tinned potatoes,

Tinned puddings,

Small jars of coffee, Toiletries,

Long life milk. 

​

Any items you would like to donate can be left in the collection crate in the back foyer or the green box in church.

Jean and Jan have collated loads of shoe boxes & contents.

 

If you have any more items or completed shoe boxes, please bring them in as soon as possible to ensure that they get processed.

There is a collection crate in the rear porch.

Please remember that we are not allowed to include toothpaste or sweets in OCC boxes this year due to increased customs regulations.

Membership Course

​

If you are interested in becoming a member of Emmanuel Church, or simply finding out what that means, please see Gerald or put your name on the sign-up sheet in the crèche area. 

 

Gerald and the elders will be hosting an informal 2-session course for all those interested.  There is no obligation to become a member at the end of the course.
